Credits

  • Credits are the weightages assigned to the courses based on the Hours of study required to be put in by the Learner. The norms prescribed by UGC for 1 Credit is 30 hours out of which 10 % is through Synchronous learning. The remaining hours are ascribed to self- learning material, Asynchronous learning through Video / Audio and Self-study which also includes hours spent on assignments / quizzes.
  • The curriculum for MBA / MCA programs is designed to have a minimum of 80 credits, distributed across four semesters of study for the award of the degree.
  • The curriculum for BBA/ BCA/ B. Com programs is designed to have a minimum of 110 credits, distributed across six semesters of study for the award of degree.
  • Internship program is Optional. But if a learner successfully completes the internship program the learner is eligible to obtain two additional credits.
  • In addition, a learner can add additional credits by opting for courses (relevant to the Programs) offered in Swayam, Coursera and other MOOC platforms.
